Objectives


  1. Develop a heightened sense of safety in the workplace and environment
  2. Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation theory and its application to Electrical & Instrumentation control equipment.
  3. Layout and install the various Electrical & Instrumentation Installations systems in an Industrial Environment.
  4. Implement the instructions given in plans and specifications pertaining to Electrical & Instrumentation installations.
  5. Be thoroughly familiar with the safety requirements for Electrical & Instrumentation installations.
  6. Be capable of trouble shooting and maintaining Electrical & Instrumentation systems and equipment.
  7. Competently use tools and test instruments to perform necessary tasks.
  8. Be familiar with the work of other Technicians in the Electrical & Instrumentation industry and with the different Installation Types.
  9. Perform assigned tasks in accordance with quality and production standards required by the industry.
