Health, Safety & Environmental Policy

The Management of the National Energy Skills Center is committed to the diligent management of its occupational health safety and environmental systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation. The NESC also recognizes its responsibilities for the health and safety of all stakeholders and will provide the necessary information, training and supervision to ensure that this policy is properly implemented and maintained.

Guidelines for Visitors

Relevant Signs on Covid 19 safety precautions must be posted in high traffic areas. The Security Officer/ Campus Manager or authorised company representative shall guide clients/suppliers/contractors and other visitors on the requirements for entry into the facility, including the following:

  • Only persons wearing face masks will be allowed entry.
  • Hands must be washed or sanitized before entry.
  • Social distancing of 3-6 feet must be adhered at all times using the demarcation lines.
  • No congregating is permitted at any time while on the compound.
  • In rooms with restricted spaces, only five (5) persons will be allowed entry at a given time.

All visitors are expected to cooperate with the security officers and members of staff while on the compound. NESC reserves the right to refuse entry to any person(s) unwilling to adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines.
